Decathlon launches £25 PE kit including 'comfy trainers' and 'robust backpack' that parents 'highly recommend'

PE kits can be costly. They invariably end up lost or ripped, making them a very expensive item to be replaced. That's why it's good to spot special offers on school uniform and gymwear.

Decathlon has launched a Back to Sport Pack for less than £25 which includes a kid's PE top and kid's shorts plus a pair of kid's trainers and a backpack to carry them in too. Available in sizes for ages four to 15, you can get for £8.99, a , a for £3.99 and for £3.99.

And they've been given great reviews by parents, saying that the trainers are 'comfy' and 'sturdy' and that the backpack is 'robust'. The 17 litre Essential Backpack costs £7.99 and comes with a central pocket and other compartments, including one for shoes. You can get it in storm grey, whale blue and fluro lime yellow. It has got an average of 4.65 out of 5 stars in more than 375 reviews.

One reviewer posted: "Robust bag, good design with sufficient room for most things you'll carry. Great price too! One large compartment with an inner pocket and 2 external ones plus a sleeve for a water bottle! Highly recommend!!"

The Rip Tab trainers cost £8.99 and are flexible and water repellent with non-marking soles, making them suitable for everyday activities on all types of surfaces. They have been reviewed more than 7,800 times and have an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Quite a few reviewers had said that the trainers come up small so it's definitely worth going to try them before buying. One added: "Purchased for my daughter, her second pair of Decathlon trainers, well made and long lasting with a very good price tag."

The football jersey costs £3.99 and is made from breathable, lightweight fabric. It has a 4.6 out of 5 star average rating from more than 1,500 reviews. One said: "As a neutral top this works well drawing little or no unwanted attention due to not advertising a particular team."

And the plain black Kipsta shorts also cost £3.99 with an average 4.7 out of 5 star rating from more than 2,600 reviews. The F100 shorts are made with light, recycled fabric to enable movement on the pitch. One reviewer posted: "Really good quality and value for money. The shorts have washed up well. They are a good fit and my son finds them comfy to wear."

It means you can get the whole kit for just £24.96.
